Hi, I’m Anna…
I’m a mum to two little ones, who have both had their fair share of sleep challenges - so I’ve been exactly where you are now. I spent far too long running on empty, feeling the pressure to just cope, wondering if this is just what life looks like now.
My little boy didn’t sleep through the night until he was nearly 2, as we battled allergies and severe reflux, and wow it was hard. I felt trapped by having to feed him to sleep and became an auto-pilot mum who relied far too much on coffee! Working with a sleep consultant changed our life for the better and having such a positive experience is what sparked my passion to help others.
I have also worked in the NHS as a paediatric occupational therapist, supporting families with for over 10 years, teaching their child to learn new skills and guiding them to reach their full potential.
I feel so passionately about helping breastfeeding mums, particularly as I have experienced the constant battle of wanting to continue our feeding journey, but also feeling like ending it may support better sleep. This absolutely is not true and I have supported so many babies to sleep well and continue feeding.
So to all the exhausted mums out there, I promise there is a light at the end of the tunnel, you will get that girls trip to the spa or that evening out with your partner!
My Mission
I want to help parents feel empowered to make a change to their little one’s sleep, by working together to choose the right approach and strategy to suit you. No more feeling guilty for wanting a better night sleep or a night out with friends, let’s use that as motivation to get you to the end goal!
If times get tough, I am there to guide you forward and be someone you can lean on, in a judgement free space. I want to celebrate the wins and successes (there will be lots!), think of me as your pocket cheerleader!
The overarching ethos of what I do is supporting your little one to learn new sleep skills, by giving the opportunity to fall asleep in a new way, with less support. There’s no harsh starting points or going cold turkey with night feeds, just a gradual change to ease your child into their new way of sleeping.
From multiple night wakes (baby waking every 60-90 minutes?), to 2 hour long bedtime battles, marching the streets to get your baby to nap or a little bed thief… I’ve seen and heard it all!
